I decided to join in the Design Quest designer challenges over at Scrapping Fairytales this year. For the first week, we were asked to design a kit around a "villain" or "bad guy" using one of the color swatches provided. I struggled at first coming up with theme, because I do not think I have ever designed a kit with a "bad guy". Then real life, as it often does, stepped in with the inspiration. Me and monsters under the bed have a battle almost every night right now. The Little Lady will come out of her room multiple times to tell me there are monsters under the bed. I go in, get down on the floor and look under the bed to have a 'chat' with them about why they cannot stay under the bed and that they need to go outside so the Little Lady can sleep. She is okay with the chat, but then she starts to worry about the monsters. For example, it was rather chilly the other night, so I had to go back and tell the monsters to take their coats with them when they went outside. Obviously, Little Lady is not really afraid of these "monsters" under her bed, just more bothered by their presence. So I decided to do a fun mini kit about the monsters. You can grab the mini kit over Scrapping Fairytales and take a look around the gallery to grab some more mini kits. The deadline for the first week in Sunday, so be sure to check back often for new additions. Also, be sure to leave lots of love on the kits. Many of the participants are new at designing and a little encouragement from you all can go a long way (I don't mind some either).

Soooo CUTE! Thank you! :)
